BEMAC presents EMERGE RECORD
RECORD is a FREE introductory workshop program designed to provide hands-on skills and understanding into the audio production industry.
The three-part intensive will guide participants through the process of recording, mixing and mastering audio for publication on digital platforms such as iTunes and Soundcloud.
It is part of BEMAC’s EMERGE professional development series, which aims to engage, upskill and empower the next generation of creatives from culturally diverse backgrounds living in Queensland.
By exploring the practical aspects of audio production and providing insight into the skills required to pursue a career in sound recording and audio production, RECORD aims to provide emerging artists the opportunity to learn the skills required to be self-sufficient at recording and publishing their own musical work.
By providing the opportunity and recourse to artists who may not have access to these otherwise, RECORD aims to upskill artists to build their online musical presence and garner increased opportunities as professional musicians.
By the end of the workshop series, participants will have recorded, mixed and mastered a musical work ready for publishing on digital platforms. They will have gained a deeper understanding and hands-on experience with the tools and techniques used in the recording and post-production process.
