Brisbane French Festival presents The Student and Mr Henri
Experience the magic of French Theatre with English Subtitles!
Brisbane French Theatre is delighted to present “The Student and Monsieur Henri” by Yvan Calbérac, a classical French comedy-drama.
What happens when a lonely, grumpy old man finds himself grudgingly sharing his apartment with a bubbly, scatterbrain female student?
At once funny and touching, this French hit brings a fresh perspective to timeless themes like ageing, handling one’s family and learning to accept others (… and oneself) as they are.
TICKETS: $22 standard ticket / $39 package (1 ticket, 1 glass of French wine; or sparkling; or lemonade and canapes)
Doors open at 6pm. Browse and enjoy ‘Paris sur Seine’ photographic Exhibition located in the foyer and on level one. Pre-purchase French wine and canapes.
For the play, audience members are requested to arrive at 7:15 pm for 7:30 pm start.
This play is performed entirely in French, with subtitles projected on a wide screen above the scene.
