Good Grief – Vena Cava

Vena Cava Productions is bringing their production of Good Grief to the Queensland Multicultural Centre!

Merlynn Tong’s Good Grief collects myths from across time and space and weaves them together with the common threads of grief and love. The scenes bounce between reimagined tales inspired by everything from Ancient China to the moon landing. One minute we’re dodging swooping magpies, the next we’re with two sisters at a ghost wedding. This play is a library of moments that celebrates facing the impossible with hope. Audiences will have the incredible opportunity to explore elements in this production in which they can relate towards their own self.
