Weaving our Stories

We are bringing together Traditional Owners from the Beetaloo Basin and the Torres Strait to tell their stories of resistance against the fossil fuel industry’s impact on First Nations communities.
Even as we face heatwaves, bushfires, cyclones, coral bleaching and floods on this continent, Australia continues to extract and export coal and gas. It’s Australia’s biggest contribution to the climate crisis. For decades Traditional Owners have been resisting extraction on Country, and now there is a growing movement of people pushing back against the fossil fuel lobby.

Join us for a powerful night of storytelling and protest through culture, music, dance, art and food.
