World Wellness Group and BEMAC present Constance on the Edge

BEMAC has partnered with World Wellness Group to host a screening of Belinda Mason’s critically acclaimed feature documentary “Constance on the Edge.”

Filmed over 10 years, “Constance on the Edge” is the story of one refugee family’s resettlement in Australia, in the town of Wagga Wagga.  It is a deeply honest portrayal of what it takes to build a new life as it follows Constance and her children’s navigation of a new, different culture to find their place in the community.

The film, which was a finalist for the Documentary Australia Foundation Award for Australian Documentary at the 2016 Sydney Film Festival will be shown at the Queensland Multicultural Centre (102 Main Street, Kangaroo Point) on Friday, 31 March from 6.15pm to 7.45pm.

The World Wellness Group is a not-for-profit social enterprise that promotes health, wellness, equity, cultural diversity and traditional approaches to health and wellbeing.

Ticketing will go live within the next few weeks.
