Among the Brisbane Jazz Club’s most eagerly awaited events, theย Brisbane Big Band Festivalย stands out as a great opportunity for big bands to get together and share their love of this exhilarating jazz music. The sheer power of some 20 musicians in each band, giving it all they’ve got, is an inspiration to jazz lovers of all ages – in fact the highly successfulย Brisbane Youth Jazz Festivalย is a spin-off from theย BBBF.

The quality of Brisbane musicianship is legendary and our patrons may look forward to a sumptuous feast of big band jazz from the 12 bands in this year’s swinging festival.
