Cappella Chorale: The Oscars Songbook

A celebration of motion picture magic, The Oscars Songbook is a glittering choral showcase featuring iconic numbers that were all awarded Best Song at the Academy Awards.

From the jazz musicals of the swinging ‘30s to the intrigue of James Bond 007 all the way to the wonderful world of Disney, The Oscars Songbook is sure to delight audiences of all ages.

Featuring songs from The Wizard of OzCalamity JaneBreakfast At Tiffany’sThe Poseidon Adventure, ArthurDirty DancingBeauty and the BeastAladdinSkyfallBarbie and much, much more … this show has something for everyone!

The Oscars Songbook is presented by Cappella Chorale, an inclusive Brisbane choir bringing people together to build community, make music and celebrate the power of their collective voices.

Step back in time and join us for two unforgettable performances in the air-conditioned comfort of the Queensland Multicultural Centre (BEMAC), Kangaroo Point, featuring tiered seating and a live band!

Concert 1: 3.00pm – 4.15pm (75 minutes, no interval) Doors open at 2.30pm

⭐Concert 2: 5.30pm – 6.45pm (75 minutes, no interval) Doors open at 5.00pm
