You are invited to join our next ‘Think In’ planning session!
Join us to start planning the next Brisbane-based WOW Australia Festival in 2020!
Collaborate with Jude Kelly, Founder of WOW and The WOW Foundation (London) to identify the key issues and ideas affecting women and girls today, that you think should be included in the program.
Each WOW program is built around the issues and ideas identified by members of the community through ‘Think In’ community planning sessions.
Join us on 26 June from 1pm to 3.30pm at the Queensland Multicultural Centre (QMC) at Kangaroo Point, Brisbane.
Event details and access requirements
Parking: Parking in the QMC car park (free) plus metred parking on the street
Public Transport (from CBD)
Bus: Catch bus 232 at Edward Street Stop 142 (near Queen Street) to Main Street at Story Bridge East, Stop 6.
Ferry: catch a free ferry from Eagle Street Pier Ferry Terminal to Holman Street Ferry Terminal. Walk 307m to the QMC
Access: If you have any specific access needs please contact info@wowaustralia.com.au as we want to make sure everyone is well supported to attend.
Auslan Interpretation – If you require an Auslan interpreter please ilet us know via email.
Children and babies: All welcome. Please bring your little ones if you need to – there will be a space suitable for them to join us in the discussion. Please let us know their age by email so we can ensure the space is age-appropriate.
These events are inclusive of all people, including transgender women, transgender men, gender diverse folks, and men and boys.

We will have around one hundred places available for this session and will allocate seats to our first responders. We will be doing more events in July and other smaller events as required
